Week 3

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Damn, that was a painful week for me!  Mr. Saunders I have no idea how you managed to pull off a 13 win week, but your monkey money will be on the way.  Kayman also deserves honerable mention since he went from the bottom to a more respectable spot around the fold all in a single week.  Not sure what to think other than the spreads this week sucked!  Go, Fight, Win.

The world has ended

Not sure I have ever seen brendon at the top of the pack.  I know he talks enough that I feel like he may have been there, but I really have no memory of it.  What the hell is happening.  Two weeks and 21 wins.  Nice job by the bunch at the top.  Lets see what week 3 brings.  Brendon, your monkey money is on the way.

OK, other than baby brain fully setting in I think a case of senility has also arrived.  I forgot about that pesky Monday Night game and with that a tie breaker win goes to bobo.  So while prus had an outstanding out of his mind Sunday, his ability to prognosticate the final numbers eluded him and fell squarely on the shoulders of Purdue University Grad – bobo.

’nuff said, fixed.

…And they’re off

Wow, what a way to start a season – Prus with a 12-2 record and Shobe with a 2-12 weekend.  Yikes!  I hope everyone is as excited as I am about a fresh season of Football, ahh smells like fall.  Good luck to everyone and Prus your monkey money is on the way!

Week 1 Excitement!

Welcome back to all our returning monkeys and hello to those of you that are new.  No crazy rules here, just have fun and make your picks!  Looks like Brendon set a new standard for himself by not having the first smack up and Cubitt apparently missed seeing his name in second place lights last year with T$, but that didn’t mean it didn’t happen.  I will be sharing update duties with T$ this year off and on as we both point out the winners and losers over the course of the year.  Always good to see Kayman off to such a good start.  Nothing like being in last place after the first game.  Remember it’s a marathon and not a sprint.  Payout this year will be a biggie.

Welcome to 2008!

We’re still getting some of the furniture moved in and we definitely don’t have the bar stocked yet, but the season is indeed upon us. A proper update from Dave is due soon. This? Just a placeholder some monkey scratched into the home page.
